Media share

Media share lets viewers play a video or song on your stream. They send a link from your tip page, your portal, or chat, and it plays through the Media share element on your overlay. You set the price, the allowed platforms, and the rules.

The 60-second setup

Turn it on. Open Media share and flip the toggle.
Set your rate. Viewers pay per second of clip time. Clip length is uncapped by default; turn on the length cap if you want one.
Pick the platforms. Tap a chip to allow or block a platform. X links show as a static card, not a playing video.
Add the element. Media plays through the Media share element on your overlay. The setup page offers a one-click add, and the element sets where media appears.

How viewers request

Viewers can queue media from any of these places:

Tip page: Paste a link, pick the length and any extras, and pay by card.
Portal: Signed-in viewers request from your portal, paid from their Landmark wallet.
Chat: $media <link> [seconds] (or !sr) queues a clip from chat, paid from the viewer's wallet.
Tips on other platforms: Bits, super chats, rants, and sub messages whose message includes a link queue media too. These count only while you are live, and only when Who can request is set to Everyone.

Queue commands

!queue: Shows what is playing and what is up next.
!skip: Mods skip the clip that is playing.
!wrongsong: Lets a viewer pull back the share they just queued.
!voteskip: Lets chat vote to skip the current clip.

Pricing

Pricing is per second. Your rate times the clip length is the price, so a long clip costs more than a short one. The setup page shows the live range, for example $0.01–$216.00 per clip at a $0.01/s rate with a 6-hour max.

Two paid extras stack on top of the per-second price:

Video effect: A look applied over the clip. Black & white, invert, mirror, VHS, sepia, flip, upside down, zoom, or neon.
Skip the queue: A surcharge to jump ahead of everyone waiting. Set the price to 0 to turn it off.

Free modes

You can let some or all viewers request without paying. Free for subs, VIPs, and mods is per role, and mods are always free in chat. Free for everyone opens requests to the whole audience. Free requests are the abuse-prone kind, so you can require a minimum follow age in hours under Content rules. Paid shares skip the follow-age check.

Two fairness rules ride every free request: a viewer can have up to 5 free requests in line at once, and free requests never skip the queue, even when the skip extra is on.

If the player stops

Clip time only counts while the Media share element is running on your overlay. If the player stops mid-clip (OBS closed, source removed), the clip goes back to the front of the queue and plays in full when the player returns. Paid time never burns while nothing is on stream.

Who can request

The master gate: Everyone, Subs + mods, or Mods only. Tips with links from other platforms only queue when this is set to Everyone.

Moderation

Shares play automatically by default. Switch to approve mode and each share waits for your OK, on the dashboard or in the Control Dock.

Blocked words: Any share whose link, title, channel, message, or sender contains one is dropped. Add a channel name to block a whole channel.
Blocked viewers: Named viewers can never queue media. Blocking someone also rejects their pending shares.
Video requirements: YouTube only: minimum views, minimum video age in days, and blocking age-restricted videos.

On paid surfaces these checks run before the viewer is charged. A rejected share never costs anything.

Playback picks

Viewers can tune how their clip plays, all re-validated at play time:

Trim: Start and end seconds, to play just the part they want.
Speed: 0.5× up to 2×.
Loop: Repeat the clip for its whole play window, if you allow looping.
Effect: One of the paid video effects above.

Backup playlist

When the paid queue is empty, your backup playlist cycles as filler on the overlay. Add one link per line. It cycles only the platforms you enabled.

Spotify

Full-track Spotify playback uses your own Spotify login and needs Spotify Premium. Connect it from the Media share settings to turn the Spotify platform on.
