Getting started
LandmarkStream is a monetization layer and on-stream toolkit that sits on top of the platforms you already stream on. Connect an account once, and you get tipping, alerts and overlays, an AI Camera, and a viewer-facing Portal and Wallet — all driven by one real-time event stream. This page is the fast path from signing up to your first alert showing on stream.
What you get
Everything in Landmark is built on a single, normalized event stream. Once a platform is connected, follows, subs, tips, and chat all flow through the same pipeline — so the same tools work no matter where you stream.
- Tipping
- A hosted page where viewers tip you directly by card — no Landmark account required on their end. See Tipping and how fees work.
- Elements & Overlays
- Elements are the on-stream pieces — alerts, goals, tickers. Overlays are the browser-source pages you arrange them on and paste into OBS.
- AI Camera
- A real-time generative camera filter you control from the dashboard.
- Portal & Wallet
- The Portal is the single window viewers use to watch and interact; the Wallet tracks what you've earned across products.
We roll new features out over time, so your dashboard shows what's available to you — more may appear as it ships.
Your onboarding checklist
After you sign up, the dashboard shows a Get started checklist with three steps. You can do them in any order, and the sidebar keeps the checklist pinned until they're all done.
- Platform Connections
- Link YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Rumble, or TikTok so Landmark can read your real-time event stream.
- Payment Methods
- Connect payouts through Stripe so monetized interactions — like tips — actually pay you.
- Portal Setup
- Pick a handle and configure your Portal, the single window viewers use to watch and interact.
Fast path to your first on-stream alert
You don't need to finish everything before going live. Here's the shortest route from a fresh account to an alert firing in OBS.
- Connect a platform. Go to Platform Connections and link the account you stream from. This is what feeds the events that trigger your alerts. Full walkthrough: Connect a platform.
- Connect a bank for tips (optional). If you want to take tips, open Payment Methods and finish the Stripe payout setup. You can skip this for now and come back — alerts work without it.
- Open Elements. Head to Elements. The first time you open it, Landmark pre-seeds a set of default alerts, so you have working pieces immediately — nothing to build from scratch. Tweak them or leave the defaults. More in Elements.
- Drop them on an Overlay. Go to Overlays and place the Elements you want onto an overlay. The overlay is the single page OBS will load.
- Paste the overlay URL into OBS. Copy the overlay's URL, add a Browser source in OBS, and paste it in. Your alerts now render on stream and fire in real time. Step-by-step: OBS setup.
Treat the overlay URL like a password — anyone with it can render your alerts. Don't show it on stream.
