MineControl
MineControl connects Minecraft: Java Edition to your stream. Viewers redeem effects that fire live in your world, from every platform you stream to. Landmark Desktop installs the mod, keeps it updated and launches Minecraft. It has to be running for redeems to fire.
Modes
- Block Busters challenge
- Break every block before the stream can end. Paid redeems add blocks and fire effects that slow you down.
- Casual
- No objective. Redeems fire effects while you play.
- Parkour
- Reach the end of a generated course. Viewers redeem to set you back.
- Fill the Pit
- Fill a glass pit to win rounds while chat undoes your progress.
You pick the mode from the MineControl menu inside Minecraft, per world.
Each mode has its own redeems
Every mode keeps its own redeem list, its own prices and its own platform ways. A way fires only in its mode, so 500 bits can set off one effect in Casual and another in Block Busters. A way set for every mode splits off for one mode the first time you change it there. Edit them on the MineControl panel or on the Menu, where each mode reads as its own list.
Fees
- Coins or a tip that set off an effect: Landmark keeps 20%, taken as it fires.
- Bits, subs, gifts, Super Chats or Rants that set off an effect: 20% of their value, billed later.
- Create A Redeem and AI Distort bill their usage only.
- Chat commands, follows and channel points carry no fee.
See Fees for when each one is billed.
Block Busters
- Blocks
- Coins, bits, gifts and tips push the goal up by the value per block you set. Subs add blocks only with Subs add blocks turned on.
- Test fires
- A test fire from the panel plays the effect in your live game with no charge. It never adds blocks and never counts on a goal.
- Where you respawn
- Every 500 deaths opens a new spawn zone 512 blocks out, up to four around world spawn. Each respawn picks world spawn or an open zone at random. The spread around it grows with your deaths: 30 blocks on a new run, one block wider every 10 deaths, up to 80. Your bed or a set spawn point still works.
Spawn map
Your Block Busters run as one 3D map you can turn and zoom. Open it from the Spawn map link on your Block Busters page, at /@yourname/blockbusters.
- Every spawn zone of the run, and the ground between them.
- Every block mined, played back over time.
- Each redeem at the spot it hit, before, at its peak and after.
- Deaths, with the redeem and the viewer behind each one.
- The block counter and every change to the goal.
The map fills in from runs on MineControl 0.56.3 or newer. The game saves the ground every 30 seconds and around every redeem.
