This Privacy Policy explains how Landmark ("Landmark", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use landmark.stream and our related services (the "Service"). Landmark is a multi-platform streaming monetization and live-event toolkit. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, display name, a securely hashed password (for email sign-ups), and your preferences (locale, currency, timezone).
• Connected platform identities — when you connect Twitch, YouTube (Google), Kick, TikTok, or Rumble, we store your platform user ID, channel/handle and avatar, and an encrypted access/refresh token. Tokens are used only to provide the features you enable and are encrypted at rest.
• Streaming & interaction data — events from your connected platforms (follows, subscriptions, tips, cheers, gifts, chat messages, redemptions, viewer counts) and your use of Landmark features (overlays, alerts, text-to-speech, AI camera, the AI assistant).
• Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We retain transaction records (amounts, status, timestamps), your Stripe customer ID, and—if you receive payouts—your Stripe Connect account identifiers and payout status.
• Wallet & usage — your Landmark Coin balance, transaction ledger, and metered usage of paid features for billing.
• Technical data — IP address, browser/user-agent, and a session cookie used to keep you logged in.
• Alpha applications — if you apply for alpha access, the information you submit in the application form.

How we use information

• To operate and provide the Service, including routing your live events to your overlays and tools.
• To process payments, tips, top-ups, the Gold Alpha purchase, billing, and payouts.
• To secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms.
• To provide support and to communicate with you about your account.
• To maintain and improve the Service.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service:

• A payment processor — payment processing and payouts.
• Streaming platforms — Twitch, YouTube/Google, and Kick via their official APIs, and TikTok and Rumble via their public live endpoints, for the integrations you connect.
• A text-to-speech provider — voice synthesis.
• An AI video provider — AI camera processing.
• An AI provider — the AI assistant.
• An email provider — transactional email (verification, password reset).
• Hosting & content-delivery providers — hosting and CDN.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Landmark and its users.

Some features send content to these providers to function — for example, chat messages and the viewer/streamer names attached to them may be sent to an AI provider for the AI assistant and to a text-to-speech provider when a message is read aloud. We only send what a feature you've enabled needs.

Cookies

We use only strictly-necessary cookies — a sign-in session cookie and, for private Portals, a cookie that remembers you entered the access code. We don't use advertising or third-party analytics cookies, so there's no tracking to consent to.

Google and YouTube data

When you connect a Google/YouTube account, we request access to your YouTube channel and live chat solely to provide the features you enable (for example, reading and posting in your live chat for the chatbot). Landmark's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Our use of YouTube API Services is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can review and revoke Landmark's access to your Google account at any time via Google's security settings or by disconnecting the platform in Landmark.

Security

We protect data with measures including encryption of platform access tokens at rest, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete or anonymize your personal data, except records we must retain for legal, tax, or financial-compliance reasons (for example, payment records).

Your choices & rights

You can access and update your account information, disconnect any connected platform, and request deletion of your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these, contact us at [email protected].

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and paid features require you to be at least 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International users

Landmark operates in the United States; your information may be processed there.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
